Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the onion, celery, thyme, and rosemary. Cook until the vegetables are softened, about 5 minutes.

Add the chestnuts and wild mushrooms to the skillet. Cook for another 5 minutes, until the mushrooms are tender.

In a large bowl, combine the bread cubes and the vegetable broth. Add the cooked vegetable mixture to the bowl and mix well. Season with salt and black pepper.

Transfer the stuffing mixture to a baking dish and cover with foil. Bake for 30 minutes.

Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, until the top is golden brown.
