Cheesy Tomato Bites
Tomatoes are technically a fruit, but they are commonly used as a vegetable in cooking.
This is vegetarian, gluten free and low carb recipe. Dish can be prepared in 30 minutes. Recipe requires some culinary experience (medium difficulty). Number of ingredients: 7.

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

Cut the cherry tomatoes in half.

Place the tomato halves on a baking sheet.

Sprinkle salt and black pepper over the tomatoes.

Tear the mozzarella cheese into small pieces and place them on top of the tomatoes.

In a small bowl, mix the bread crumbs with olive oil.

Sprinkle the bread crumb mixture over the cheese.

Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the bread crumbs are golden brown.

Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes.

Garnish with fresh basil leaves.
