  1. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, ground cardamom, and salt.
  2. In a separate large bowl, cream together the softened butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until light and fluffy.
  3. Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, mixing until well combined.
  4. Stir in the chopped walnuts.
  5. Divide the dough into 2 equal portions and shape each portion into a log.
  6. Wrap the logs in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  7. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  8. Slice the chilled dough logs into crescent shapes and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  9. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until lightly golden.
