  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch pie dish.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter. Add the sugar and cocoa powder, and mix well.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs and vanilla extract. Add the egg mixture to the butter mixture and mix until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips and chopped walnuts.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared pie dish and smooth the top.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool in the dish for 10 minutes. Then, transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  9. Once cooled, refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
  10. Serve the brownie pie chilled and enjoy!
