Bread Pudding
Bread pudding dates back to the 11th century and was originally made as a way to use up stale bread.
This is vegetarian recipe. Dish can be prepared in 65 minutes. Recipe requires some culinary experience (medium difficulty). Number of ingredients: 8.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a large bowl, tear the stale bread into small pieces.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon.

Pour the milk mixture over the bread and mix well.

Stir in the raisins.

Grease a baking dish with butter and pour the bread mixture into it.

Dot the top of the pudding with butter.

Bake for 40 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the pudding is set.

Remove from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.

Serve warm or cold.
