Place the butter in a 10-inch cast-iron skillet and transfer to the preheated oven until the butter has melted.

Remove the skillet from the oven and carefully pour the batter into the hot skillet.

Sprinkle the blueberries over the batter.

Return the skillet to the oven and bake until the dutch baby is puffed and golden brown, about 18-20 minutes.
