  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, prepare the brownie mix according to the package instructions.
  3. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix together the cookie dough ingredients: softened butter, eggs, vanilla extract, all-purpose flour, salt, and chocolate chips.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of the cookie dough mixture onto the brownie batter.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
