Blueberry Bread Pudding
Bread pudding is believed to have originated in the 11th or 12th century as a way to use up stale bread.
This is vegetarian recipe. Dish can be prepared in 70 minutes. Recipe requires some culinary experience (medium difficulty). Number of ingredients: 8.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish.

Cut the bread into cubes and place them in the baking dish. Sprinkle the blueberries over the bread.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon. Pour the mixture over the bread and blueberries.

Let the mixture rest for 10 minutes to allow the bread to absorb the liquid.

Dot the top of the bread pudding with butter.

Bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the pudding is set.

Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Serve warm, optionally topped with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
