Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

Steam the broccoli until tender, then drain and set aside.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cheddar cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream, finely chopped onion, minced garlic, beaten eggs, melted butter, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

Add the steamed broccoli to the mixture and stir until evenly coated.

Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish.

Sprinkle bread crumbs on top.

Bake in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes, or until the casserole is golden and bubbly.
