Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x9-inch baking pan.

In a large mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth.

Add the peanut butter, sugar, egg, and vanilla extract to the mashed bananas. Mix well.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture, alternating with the milk. Mix until just combined.

Fold in the chocolate chips and chopped peanuts.

Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.

Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Remove from the oven and let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes.

Transfer the cake to a wire rack to cool completely.
