  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, granulated sugar, milk, eggs, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth.
  4. Melt the butter in a 10-inch ovenproof skillet over medium heat.
  5. Add the sliced apples to the skillet and cook for about 5 minutes, until slightly softened.
  6. Pour the batter over the apples in the skillet.
  7. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, until the pancake is puffed and golden.
  8. Remove from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes.
  9. Dust with powdered sugar and serve warm.
