  8. Repeat with the remaining potatoes and cheese sauce.
  9. Sprinkle the remaining 50 grams of grated cheddar cheese on top.
  10. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 40 minutes.
  11. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 20 minutes, or until the top is golden and the potatoes are tender.
  12. Let the dish rest for 10 minutes before serving.
