In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt. In a separate small bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water and let it sit for 5 minutes.

Add the yeast mixture and melted butter to the flour mixture. Stir until a dough forms.

Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for 5 minutes, or until smooth and elastic.

Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a clean kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.

In a small bowl, mix together diced apples, cinnamon, and brown sugar.

Punch down the dough and divide it into 12 equal pieces. Roll each piece into a ball.

Flatten each dough ball and place a spoonful of the apple mixture in the center. Pinch the edges together to seal.
