Almond Shortbread
Shortbread originated in Scotland and has been enjoyed for centuries. It is traditionally made with just three ingredients: butter, sugar, and flour.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a mixing bowl, combine the almond flour, all-purpose flour, and salt.

In a separate bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

Add the vanilla extract to the butter mixture and mix well.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture and mix until a dough forms.

Press the dough into a greased baking dish and sprinkle the sliced almonds on top.

Bake for 20 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.

Allow the shortbread to cool in the baking dish for 30 minutes before cutting into squares.
