Easy Baklava
Baklava is a popular dessert in many Middle Eastern and Mediterranean countries, with each region having its own unique variation.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a food processor, pulse the walnuts and almonds until finely chopped.

In a bowl, mix together the chopped nuts, sugar, and cinnamon.

Melt the butter in a saucepan.

Brush a 9x13-inch baking dish with melted butter.

Lay a sheet of phyllo dough in the baking dish and brush with melted butter.

Repeat the process with half of the phyllo dough sheets.

Spread the nut mixture evenly over the phyllo dough.

Layer the remaining phyllo dough sheets on top, brushing each sheet with melted butter.

Using a sharp knife, cut the baklava into diamond or square shapes.

Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until golden brown.

While the baklava is baking, heat the honey in a saucepan until warm.

Once the baklava is done, remove it from the oven and pour the warm honey over it.

Allow the baklava to cool and rest for at least 1 hour before serving.
