In a bowl, combine the all-purpose flour and salt. Set aside.

In another bowl, cream together the unsalted butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until light and fluffy.

Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, mixing until a dough forms.

Stir in the finely chopped walnuts.

Divide the dough into 12 equal portions and shape each portion into a crescent shape.

Place the crescents on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (180°C) for 12-15 minutes, or until lightly golden.

Allow the crescents to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
