Vegetables in Cream Sauce

In a large pot, bring water to a boil and add salt.

Add the broccoli, carrots, cauliflower, and green peas to the boiling water and cook for 5 minutes.

Drain the vegetables and set aside.

In a separate pan, melt the butter over medium heat.

Add the garlic and sauté until fragrant.

Stir in the all-purpose flour and cook for 2 minutes.

Gradually whisk in the heavy cream and continue cooking until the sauce thickens.

Season with salt and black pepper.

Add the cooked vegetables to the sauce and stir to coat.

Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.
