  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add the onion, garlic, carrot, celery, bell pepper, zucchini, mushrooms, and peas. Cook until the vegetables are tender.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine the bread slices, vegetable broth, dried herbs, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  4. Grease a baking dish with the remaining butter. Layer half of the vegetable mixture in the dish, followed by half of the bread mixture. Repeat the layers.
  5. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes, or until golden and crispy.
  7. Let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.
