  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan.
  3. In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add the sour cream and vanilla extract, and mix well.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Pour the mixture over the crust in the pan.
  5. Bake for 55-60 minutes, or until the center is set and the top is lightly browned. Remove from the oven and let cool in the pan for 10 minutes.
  6. Run a knife around the edges of the pan to loosen the cheesecake, then remove the sides of the pan. Let the cheesecake cool completely.
  7. Once the cheesecake is cooled, spread the cherry pie filling over the top. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
  8. Serve chilled and enjoy!
