Preheat the oven to 250°F (120°C).

In a mixing bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form. Gradually add the granulated sugar while continuing to beat until the mixture is glossy.

Gently fold in the cornstarch, lemon juice, unsalted butter, and lemon zest.

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Spoon the meringue mixture into 4 equal-sized circles on the parchment paper.

Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour. Then, turn off the oven and let the meringues rest inside for 2 hours.

In the meantime, slice the strawberries and sprinkle them with powdered sugar.

Once the meringues have cooled, remove them from the oven and assemble by layering lemon curd, strawberries, and meringues.
