Tyler’s Raspberry Thumbprints with White Chocolate Glaze
Thumbprint cookies are called so because you make an indentation in the center of the dough with your thumb before baking.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour and salt.

In a separate large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg yolks and vanilla extract.

Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, mixing until just combined.

Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place them onto the prepared baking sheets. Make an indentation in the center of each dough ball using your thumb.

Fill each indentation with raspberry jam.

Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.

Remove from the oven and let cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes, then transfer to wire racks to cool completely.

In a small microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate chips and heavy cream together in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.

Drizzle the white chocolate glaze over the cooled cookies.
