  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice the bagels in half horizontally.
  3. Place the bagel halves on a baking sheet.
  4. Spread cream cheese on the bottom half of each bagel.
  5. Top with a slice of cheddar cheese.
  6. Place tomato slices on top of the cheese.
  7. Add red onion slices and fresh basil leaves.
  8. Sprinkle with salt and black pepper.
  9. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the bagels are toasted.
  10. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes.
  11. Serve warm and enjoy!
