Three-Berry Scones

In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

Cut the cold butter into small cubes and add it to the dry ingredients. Use a pastry cutter or your fingers to mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

Gently fold in the diced strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries.

In a separate small bowl, whisk together the heavy cream and vanilla extract. Pour this mixture into the dry ingredients and berries. Stir until just combined.

Transfer the dough onto a lightly floured surface and gently knead it a few times to bring it together. Be careful not to overwork the dough.

Pat the dough into a circle about 1-inch thick. Use a round biscuit cutter to cut out scones and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
