The Great Canadian Butter Tart

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Roll out the pastry dough and line a muffin tin.

In a saucepan, melt the butter and brown sugar together.

Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.

In a separate bowl, beat the eggs and add the vanilla extract.

Slowly pour the butter mixture into the egg mixture, stirring constantly.

Stir in the white vinegar.

Fill each pastry-lined muffin cup with the butter mixture.

Sprinkle raisins and pecans on top.

Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the pastry is golden brown.

Allow the tarts to cool in the muffin tin for 10 minutes.

Remove from the tin and let them cool completely on a wire rack.
