Tenderstem broccoli is a hybrid vegetable, created by crossing broccoli with Chinese kale.

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  2. Steam the tenderstem broccoli for 5 minutes until tender.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, butter, egg, milk, salt, and black pepper to make the tartlet dough.
  4. Roll out the dough and use it to line individual tartlet tins.
  5. Prick the bases of the tartlets with a fork and blind bake for 10 minutes.
  6. Remove the tartlets from the oven and allow them to cool slightly.
  7. Cut the cambazola cheese into small cubes.
  8. Fill the tartlet cases with the steamed tenderstem broccoli and cubed cambazola cheese.
  9. Return the tartlets to the oven and bake for a further 15 minutes until the cheese is melted and golden.
  10. Remove from the oven and allow to rest for 10 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
