Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a bowl, mix crushed pretzels, melted butter, and 1 tablespoon of sugar. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking dish. Bake for 10 minutes, then let it cool.

In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese and 1 cup of sugar until smooth. Fold in the whipped topping. Spread the mixture over the cooled pretzel crust.

Dissolve strawberry gelatin in boiling water. Stir in cold water and strawberries. Pour the gelatin mixture over the cream cheese layer.
