Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

Pierce sweet potatoes with a fork and bake them for about 45 minutes or until tender.

Remove the skin from the sweet potatoes and place the flesh in a mixing bowl.

Add butter, brown sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt to the sweet potatoes. Mash and mix until well combined.

Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.

Sprinkle pecans on top.

Bake for 25 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.

Remove from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes.

Top with marshmallows and broil for 2-3 minutes until marshmallows are golden and toasted.
