In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.

In a mixing bowl, cream together butter, cream cheese, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.

Gradually add the flour mixture to the creamed mixture, alternating with milk, beginning and ending with the flour mixture. Mix until just combined.

Spread the batter evenly into the prepared baking dish. Pour the strawberry mixture over the batter.

Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the cobbler is golden brown and the strawberries are bubbly.
