Strawberries ‘n’ Cream Tarts
Strawberries are not true berries, but rather an aggregate fruit composed of several small fruits.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

Roll out the pie crust and cut into circles to fit into the tart pans.

Press the crust into the pans and prick the bottoms with a fork.

Bake the crusts for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.

In a saucepan, combine the sugar, cornstarch, and water. Cook over medium heat until thickened.

Remove the saucepan from heat and let the mixture cool.

Spread the cooled mixture evenly onto the bottom of the baked crusts.

Arrange fresh strawberries on top of the filling.

Pipe or dollop whipped cream on top of the strawberries.

Chill the tarts in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
