Spinach Gruyere Puff Pastry
Gruyere cheese is named after the Swiss town of Gruyères and is known for its nutty and creamy flavor.

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

Thaw the frozen spinach and squeeze out any excess water.

In a mixing bowl, combine the spinach, grated Gruyere cheese, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.

Roll out one sheet of puff pastry and cut it into 6 equal squares.

Place a spoonful of the spinach and cheese mixture onto each square.

Fold the puff pastry squares in half diagonally, forming triangles.

Press the edges together with a fork to seal.

Beat the egg in a separate bowl and brush it over the top of each pastry.

Place the pastries on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.
