Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in milk and vanilla extract until just combined.

In a separate bowl, toss together berries, sugar, cornstarch, and lemon juice.

Spread berry mixture evenly into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.

Drop spoonfuls of the dough mixture on top of the berries.

Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the berries are bubbling.
