In a saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Add the polenta and cook for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.

Remove the polenta from heat and stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted. Season with salt and black pepper.

Pour the polenta into a greased baking dish and spread it evenly.

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.

While the polenta is baking, slice the avocados and halve the cherry tomatoes.

In a bowl, combine the avocado slices, cherry tomatoes, fresh basil leaves, garlic, olive oil, salt, and black pepper.

Remove the polenta from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes.
