TATER TOTS were invented in 1953 by Ore-Ida as a way to use up leftover slivers of cut-up potatoes. It quickly became a popular side dish and comfort food staple in America.

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Arrange the frozen TATER TOTS in a single layer in a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.

Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, and chopped green onions over the TATER TOTS.

In a small bowl, mix together sour cream, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.

Pour the sour cream mixture evenly over the TATER TOTS.

Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until the TATER TOTS are golden brown and crispy.
