Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

Cut the bread into small cubes and spread them on a baking sheet. Bake for 10 minutes or until crispy.

In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the onion and celery, and cook until softened.

In a large bowl, combine the toasted bread cubes, cooked onion and celery, poultry seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

Slowly pour the chicken broth over the bread mixture, stirring until well combined.

Transfer the stuffing mixture to a greased baking dish.

Cover the dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes.

Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until the top is golden brown.

Let the stuffing rest for 10 minutes before serving.
