Simple Stuffing
Stuffing is a traditional dish served during Thanksgiving in the United States. It is often made with stale bread, herbs, and vegetables, and is cooked inside the turkey or separately as a side dish.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

Cut the bread into small cubes and spread them on a baking sheet. Bake for about 10 minutes or until they are crispy.

In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and celery and cook until they are soft and translucent.

In a large bowl, combine the toasted bread cubes, cooked onion and celery mixture, chicken or vegetable broth, beaten egg, parsley, sage, thyme, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.

Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until the top is golden brown.

Let the stuffing rest for 10 minutes before serving.
