  6. Stir in the Parmesan cheese, salt, black pepper, and nutmeg.
  7. Let the mixture rest for 10 minutes.
  8. Meanwhile, bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  9. Using wet hands, shape the semolina mixture into small dumplings.
  10. Drop the dumplings into the boiling water and cook for about 10 minutes or until they float to the surface.
  11. Remove the dumplings with a slotted spoon and serve hot.
