Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

Cut the bread into cubes and place them in a large mixing bowl.

In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the onion and celery, and cook until softened.

Pour the cooked onion and celery mixture over the bread cubes.

Add the chicken broth, dried sage, dried thyme, salt, and pepper to the bowl. Mix well.

Transfer the stuffing mixture to a baking dish.

Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.

Let the stuffing rest for 10 minutes before serving.
