In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt, dried thyme, and dried rosemary.

Cut the unsalted butter into small cubes and add it to the dry ingredients. Use your fingers or a pastry cutter to cut the butter into the flour mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs.

Pour in the 7up soda and stir until the dough comes together.
