  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter. Add the sugar, cocoa powder, and salt, and mix well.
  3. Add the vanilla extract and eggs to the mixture, one at a time, stirring well after each addition.
  4. Gradually add the flour and baking powder, and mix until just combined.
  5. Pour half of the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.
  6. Drizzle the caramel sauce over the batter, then pour the remaining batter on top.
  7. Use a knife to swirl the caramel into the batter.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.

  10. Sprinkle sea salt flakes over the brownies.
