Cut the top off the garlic bulbs to expose the cloves.

Drizzle the garlic bulbs with olive oil.

Wrap each bulb in aluminum foil.

Roast in the preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes, or until the garlic cloves are soft and golden.

Allow the roasted garlic to cool.

Once cooled, squeeze the soft garlic cloves into a bowl.

Add softened butter, salt, and black pepper to the bowl.

Use a fork or whisk to mash the roasted garlic and mix it with the butter until well combined.
