  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease and line a square baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a heatproof bowl, melt the dark chocolate and unsalted butter together over a saucepan of simmering water, stirring until smooth. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Gradually pour the melted chocolate mixture into the sugar mixture, stirring continuously.
  5. Sift in the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Fold gently until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
  7. Scatter the raspberries over the top of the batter.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  9. Remove from the oven and let cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
