Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.

In a large bowl, mix together cottage cheese, cream cheese, sugar, vanilla extract, and eggs until well combined.

In a separate bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the cheese mixture, stirring until just combined.

Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Dot the top with butter.

Bake for 40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Remove the loaf from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes. Then, transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.

Once cooled, dust the top with powdered sugar.
