Queso Sliders are a popular Tex-Mex twist on classic sliders, featuring a gooey queso cheese topping.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced onion and jalapeno, and cook until softened.

Add ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned. Season with salt and pepper.

Slice the slider buns in half and place them on a baking sheet. Spread queso cheese on the bottom halves.

Spoon the cooked ground beef mixture onto the cheese.

Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.

Remove from the oven and assemble the sliders with sliced tomato and lettuce.
