  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until just combined. Fold in the pumpkin puree and sour cream.
  5. In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
  6. Pour half of the pumpkin batter into the prepared cake pan. Spoon half of the cream cheese mixture on top and swirl with a knife. Repeat with the remaining batter and cream cheese mixture.
