Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter, white sugar, and brown sugar.

Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.

Mix in the pumpkin puree.

In a separate bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the pumpkin mixture and mix well.

Stir in the raisins and chopped walnuts.

Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto a greased baking sheet.
