Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

In a separate large bowl, mix together the melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until well combined. Add the egg and vanilla extract, and mix until smooth.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Fold in the pumpkin puree, chocolate chips, and chopped walnuts.

Spread the batter evenly into the prepared baking pan. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
