  1. Boil the potatoes until tender. Peel and mash them.

  3. Divide the dough into small portions and flatten each portion in the palm of your hand.
  4. Place a plum in the center of each flattened dough portion and wrap the dough around the plum, sealing it completely.
  5. Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add a pinch of salt.
  6. Carefully drop the dumplings into the boiling water and cook for about 10-12 minutes, or until they float to the surface.
  7. In a separate pan, melt the butter. Add the bread crumbs, sugar, and cinnamon. Cook until the bread crumbs turn golden brown.
  8. Remove the cooked dumplings from the water and roll them in the bread crumb mixture.
  9. Serve the plum dumplings warm, sprinkled with additional cinnamon and sugar if desired.
