Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Cook the bacon in a skillet until crispy. Remove and crumble.

In the same skillet, sauté the onion and garlic until softened.

Cook the pierogies according to package instructions and drain.

In a large bowl, combine the sour cream, cheddar cheese, salt, and black pepper.

Add the cooked pierogies, crumbled bacon, sautéed onion and garlic to the bowl and mix well.

Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish.

Bake for 30 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
