  4. Sprinkle the flour over the mushrooms and stir to coat.
  5. Gradually add the vegetable broth, stirring constantly until the soup thickens.
  6. Reduce the heat to low and stir in the heavy cream, thyme, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
