In a mixing bowl, combine the flour and salt. Cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

Gradually add cold water, tossing with a fork until a ball forms.

Divide the dough in half and shape into two discs. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).

Roll out one disc of dough on a lightly floured surface to fit a 9-inch pie plate.

Transfer the dough to the pie plate and press it firmly against the bottom and sides.

Trim any excess dough and flute the edges.

Fill the pie crust with your desired filling.

Roll out the second disc of dough and place it over the filling.

Seal the edges and cut slits in the top crust to allow steam to escape.

Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.
